DJ AROD is a Video DJ, editor and producer based in Charlotte, NC where he has entertained crowds at Nightclubs and special events since 2004. He creates and preforms a multi-genre mixture of music with unique video edits that enthrall and energize dance floors. His experiences include open for major artists including Humpty Hump and the Digital Underground, Coolio, Sean Paul, The Wing Yang Twins and V.I.C. DJ AROD currently has residencies at Harrah’s Cherokee Casino (6yrs), FightLab MMA Promotions (8yrs), Spill Paint Party (4yrs), and Wild Wing Cafe (3yrs). DJ AROD has also preformed at professional sporting events for the Charlotte Hornets NBA team and The Charlotte Hounds MLL team. Outside the Nightlife and Professional sports he has also become one of the regions most sought after wedding and event DJs. DJ AROD is known for his ability to calibrate to his audience. His love of music extends beyond the DJ world, he can often be found on a Monday recharging to some funk and soul played by his favorite local musicians, “The Monday Night All-Stars,” he may out in the “pit” at the MUSE concert or at home grooving out on his 5-pc drum kit.
